Hi, I'm Joe Sage and I'm a professional mix engineer based in Liverpool, UK.

Starting my journey into audio at the famous Chapel Studios, I learned my trade by working for some of the UK's best acts, including Grammy Award winners, and I will provide the same professional quality sound for your tracks.

I have worked with artists from all over Europe and America to help them develop their sound and help them achieve both national television and radio play. I can help deliver those same results for your career.

Interview with Joe Sage

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on a track called Dream Start for a band called Serotones. Not only were the band thrilled by the final outcome, but the track got picked up by Sky for Premier League coverage. As a person based in Liverpool, that really meant a lot!

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: A mix that get's you noticed.

  6. A: Helping musicians vision come to life.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I started out the old school way by becoming a tea boy at the incredible Chapel Studios. From there, I worked my way up to assistant and then engineer. The experience I gained by working alongside Grammy Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers was incredible and something I want to bring to your project.

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: Percussion is vastly underappreciated! Adding a shaker or tambourine (even to some heavy genres!) in the choruses really help them pop!

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: Helping bring other people's vision to come to life.
