As a producer, my focus is to bring out the best that the artist, the song, and the project have to offer. As an engineer, my focus is on capturing the sounds that best represent the music. I believe that the songs and albums that stick with us have a certain "human-ness" present in the production, and in all aspects of my work I strive to keep that element present, whether it's a live-off-the-floor folk demo, or a cut-to-the-grid metal album.
