Endorse Dan HartigDan is extremely professional, hard working, talented, and creative. He has played live guitar with me for about four years now and has also recorded guitar for projects of mine. Dan is a joy to work with as he has no ego when it comes to collaboration. He is timely and committed to staying on schedule and is open to both offering ideas and taking feedback/notes. 10/10 recommend!!!
Interview with Dan Hartig
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I really listen to the artist and cater to their needs. I won't show off unless that's what the artist wants. I also have a background in jazz, so my improvisation, sight reading and chord knowledge can really come in handy during sessions and live shows
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It really depends on the project, but I always put in 150%. I take my work very seriously and really enjoy the process. I always want to make sure that I am following the same vision as the artist, so I will usually be in touch with the artist throughout the whole process. Collaboration is key!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have my own studio space with my guitars, amps, pedalboard, piano, microphones, Logic and ProTools. I love going into the studio with artists, but I am very proud to say that I do a lot of my own tracking. It has given me great opportunities to work remotely with artists in Nashville and LA.
