Hi my name is Colby, I'm an LA-based producer with a unique, futuristic sound. I recently graduated the Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Producers where I worked directly with legendary hit-makers such as Diplo, Benny Blanco, Ne-Yo and many more. I put my heart and soul into creating a new, undeniable sound for all my clients to make them stand out. There is so much competition in the music industry these days. Talent and hard work are no longer enough. The only way to be successful is to stand out and be different. I've spent years learning the industry secrets of how hit songs are made by some of the greatest producers and songwriters.

I don't care how long it takes, I don't stop working on your song until it can be compared to the best. I am committed to clear communication, collaboration, and dedication throughout the entire process, ensuring that their input is valued at every stage. I promise to bring my creative expertise and technical precision to the table, using my experience with top-tier artists and industry mentors to make their music stand out. Above all, I promise to work tirelessly until we achieve a result that both of us are proud of, ensuring the final product is polished, impactful, and ready for release.

  3. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  4. A: How long will it take to finish my track? My answer: The timeline depends on the complexity of the track, but typically, I aim to complete the initial production within 1-2 weeks. After that, mixing, feedback, and final adjustments can take another week or so, depending on the details involved. I always keep my clients updated on progress to ensure we're aligned every step of the way. What do you need from me to get started? My answer: To get started, I typically need a clear idea of the song’s vision—whether that’s a demo, reference tracks, or even just a general direction for the vibe and sound. I also need any lyrics or vocal recordings if available, and any other specifics you’d like to include, such as preferred instruments or arrangements. Do you offer a mix and master service? My answer: Yes, I offer both mixing and mastering services. I take great care in ensuring that your track sounds polished and professional, whether it’s the overall mix or preparing the final track for release. Can you help me with vocal production? My answer: Absolutely! Vocal production is a key part of my process. I work closely with artists to guide them through the recording, performance, and editing processes, ensuring that their vocals sit perfectly in the mix and reflect the emotion of the song.

  5. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  6. A: What’s your vision for the song or project? – This helps me understand the overall direction and vibe they’re aiming for, whether it’s a specific genre, emotional tone, or message. Who are your musical influences? – Knowing their influences gives me insight into the sound and style they like and want to incorporate into the track. Do you have any reference tracks or examples? – Reference tracks help clarify the sound they’re envisioning and provide a benchmark for production. What’s the purpose of the song? – Is it for an album, single release, or film/TV placement? Knowing the goal helps tailor the production and overall feel.

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: My advice for a customer looking to hire a provider like me would be to have a clear vision for your project while also being open to collaboration. The best results come from a balance between your artistic goals and the producer’s expertise. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas, references, and the emotions you want your music to evoke—this helps create a strong foundation for the production process.

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: I have been obsessively learning Production/Mixing/Mastering/Piano 16 hours a day for 8+ years. My goal is the be the hardest-working producer out there.

  11. Q: How would you describe your style?

  12. A: I would describe my style as emotionally-driven electronic pop with a focus on catchy melodies and immersive soundscapes. I love blending modern, polished production techniques with a touch of analog warmth, creating tracks that are both radio-ready and deeply resonant. My music often features strong, memorable hooks and dynamic arrangements, with a balance of atmospheric elements and driving beats. I aim to create a sonic landscape that feels both fresh and emotionally impactful, drawing listeners in with both its depth and its accessibility. My style is all about crafting music that connects with people on a personal level while still feeling current and polished.

  13. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  14. A: I’d love to work with Billie Eilish. Her unique approach to songwriting and production is incredibly inspiring, blending minimalism with deep emotional layers. I admire how her music feels both intimate and cinematic, and how she consistently pushes boundaries in terms of sound and lyrical content. Her ability to create atmospheric, haunting tracks while maintaining mainstream appeal is something I’d love to contribute to. I believe I could bring a fresh perspective to her sound by adding my own melodic sensibilities and pop sensibilities while keeping the intimacy and rawness of her style. Working with an artist like Billie would be an incredible opportunity to merge my strengths in melody with her distinctive creative vision.

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: One music production tip I swear by is to focus on the arrangement early on. It's easy to get lost in adding layers and effects, but a strong arrangement will make or break your track. Start with a solid foundation—whether that’s a simple chord progression or a catchy hook—and build your track around that. Think about the journey of the song, how it evolves over time, and how each section (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.) flows into the next. Having a clear vision of the structure early on makes it easier to add elements that support the song’s direction, ensuring it feels cohesive and impactful from start to finish.

  17. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  18. A: Pop, Alt-Pop, Electric-Pop, Ambient, Psychedelic, Cinematic, Hip-hop, Trap, R&B.... Any genre besides; Country, Rock, and Jazz

  19. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  20. A: My strongest skill is blending creativity with technical precision to craft emotionally resonant, polished pop music. I have a natural ability to create memorable melodies and hooks that capture the listener's attention, while also ensuring the track’s arrangement, production, and mixing are flawless. My experience with high-level mentors like Stargate and Rick Nowels has refined my ear for what makes a hit, and I’ve developed a strong sense of how to balance innovation with accessibility in pop music. Whether I’m creating beats, producing vocals, or mixing, I focus on maintaining a cohesive, professional sound that resonates emotionally with the audience.

  21. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  22. A: I bring a blend of creativity, technical skill, and emotional depth to every song I work on. My strength lies in crafting catchy, memorable melodies and impactful hooks that connect with listeners. I approach each track with a focus on ensuring every element, from beats to vocals, serves the overall vision of the song while maintaining a fresh, modern sound. I also bring a high level of attention to detail and a passion for creating immersive soundscapes. Whether it’s refining vocals to perfection or enhancing the instrumental layers to support the song’s narrative, I ensure that every aspect of the track feels intentional. Ultimately, I strive to elevate a song and help artists bring their vision to life while creating something memorable and impactful.

  23. Q: What's your typical work process?

  24. A: My typical work process begins with understanding the artist's vision and the emotional direction of the song. I start by laying down the foundational elements, usually creating a catchy beat or instrumental loop to set the tone. Or starting with an acapella they send me. I focus on building the core of the track first, ensuring the melody and rhythm are engaging and memorable. Once the foundation is solid, I collaborate with the artist to develop the structure, adding layers of instrumentation, harmonies, and textures. Next, I focus on vocal production, ensuring the performance is captured with the right emotion and clarity. I help the artist refine their delivery, guiding them through the recording process. After that, I move into mixing, carefully balancing all elements, adding effects, and ensuring the track sounds polished and cohesive. Finally, I use mastering tools to give the track a professional finish, making sure it translates well across different listening environments. Throughout the entire process, I maintain a flexible and collaborative approach, ensuring the final product aligns with the artist’s vision while bringing my own production style to the table.

  25. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  26. A: Los Angeles Recording Studio with everything needed to make a hit song

  27. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  28. A: I'm inspired by a range of musicians and producers who push the boundaries of pop music. Max Martin’s ability to create timeless, emotionally-driven pop hits is something I strive to emulate in my work. Finneas’s minimalistic yet powerful production for Billie Eilish has transformed the genre, and I admire his attention to detail and intimate soundscapes. Kevin Parker of Tame Impala inspires me with his innovative blend of psychedelia and modern pop, while Rick Rubin’s focus on raw emotion and simplicity in production is something I deeply respect. Lastly, Stargate’s skill in combining emotional depth with contemporary pop influences, as seen in their work with artists like Rihanna and Sam Smith, has greatly shaped my approach to music production. These influences motivate me to create music that’s both innovative and emotionally resonant.

  29. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  30. A: I specialize in crafting high-quality pop tracks that resonate with today’s listeners. My work includes beat making, vocal production, and song arrangement, where I collaborate closely with artists to bring their vision to life. I focus on creating dynamic, emotionally-driven productions that feature strong melodies, catchy hooks, and radio-ready structures. I also provide vocal production and editing, ensuring every performance shines and sits perfectly in the mix. From there, I guide the track through mixing and mastering to ensure it sounds polished and professional for release. My approach is all about enhancing the artist’s unique sound while ensuring the track is both impactful and memorable. Whether you’re looking for a fresh, radio-friendly pop song or a polished production, I’m here to bring your music to the next level.

  31. Q: What do you like most about your job?
