Drummer/Composer Jose R. Duque is a graduate of Berklee
College of Music. Jose has always set up to establish himself as the most innovative and versatile musician wherever he sets up residence. Now living in Miami this musician has positioned himself as the go to guy in a variety of styles, such as Jazz, R&B, Latin, Rock, World Music and Musical Theater.
Jose is also a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (the GRAMMY’s) Jose has recorded/Performed/Toured with: Colin Edwin (Bassist of Porcupine Tree) and Jon Durant’s band, BURNT BELIEF, THE RANDY ARMSTRONG WORLD ENSEMBLE, TJ Wheeler, SharonJones, The Camel Toe Band, The Jonathan
Auerbach Trio, Yvette Norwood-Tiger. Jose is also the drummer of Emigdio & La SUPERPOWER, a super funky pop band led by the original keyboardist of DESORDEN PUBLICO. And the JAZZILIAN Project, a multicultural group that performs new arrangements of Brazil and Latin America standards.
