Farnell is one of the region's most versatile trumpeters and educators, playing straight-ahead jazz, funk, Latin music, soul, hip hop, and more. Over the years, Farnell has toured with 3-time Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/actress Jill Scott, the Legendary Rhinestone Rockstar Funk Bassist Bootsy Collins, and cross-genre ensemble the Portland Cello Project. When Farnell is not performing, he also composes music at Marmoset, Koze Music, Complete Tracks, Dodge A Bullet, and Redbull where his music has been used for commercials for brands such as Uber, Adidas, Puma, Facebook, and the NFL.
