John Grenn is a Canadian music producer, songwriter, and artist with a commercial music history that goes back to the mid-90s. It was then that John experienced success as part of the Canadian Euro-Dance act Yakoo Boyz & YBZ. With a number of successful radio releases and live appearances, they had a good run, being featured on many compilations and with remixes that included artists like Whigfield and Duane Eddy.

John also spent 10 years (2007 - 2017) at the smartphone icon, BlackBerry, as a sound designer & audio engineer, heavily involved in all products launched and shipped by the company.

Fast forward to today, and John is very busy producing, writing, and releasing lots of music of his own as well as co-writing with and producing other artists. He has had multiple radio releases under his belt in the past few years. For John, who loves all kinds of different music, it’s all about making the music that he enjoys the most, which has always been radio-friendly and current-sounding.
