Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: phone,
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I took my first steps on stage as my mom was also a singer and performed in all types of stages - reciting, dancing and singing.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: trancy, deepfelt and natural
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Both masters of the electronic industry DJ Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren - they both made history!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your first impulse when hearing a demo! It is much like meeting someone new - either you love or hate. In songwriting use both emotions to feed off to greatness. Never settle!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: dance music house anything that moves me
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: toplining delivering raw emotions thru my voice
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: All my heart and then some. I consider all my songs - my babies! I often help in the arrangement as well and most of all reducing it to a radio cut - now with all the streaming platforms this step is so very important.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen at night when everyone's asleep and record whatever comes to mind at first glance. I record a rough draft directly to my phone to create the skeleton of the song and then crystalize it all with lyrics.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio setup but always go to a professional studio to record vocals. I trust professionals best.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love the sunny Sharira, the soulful Nina Simone and the mischievous Fiona Apple.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most DJs typically send me a demo or just beats and let me do my magic. It is a plus to hear a reference track, but most of the time, I dig deep to create a new and unique masterpiece.
