An audio and music production studio founded by Brian Walters, bringing over a decade of experience as a professional theatre mixer and sound designer back to his roots as a musician and studio engineer.
Formally trained at the University of Miami in the acclaimed Music Engineering Technology program, Brian is an accomplished audio engineer and musician, specializing in guitar. He began his professional career as the Front of House Mixer at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA, working on more than twenty groundbreaking productions. His work as an Associate Sound Designer has been seen on Broadway in New York City, on the West End in London, and across the United States and Canada. Most recently, he was the Head of Audio and Front of House Mixer on Broadway for the hit musical, WAITRESS, with music by Sara Bareilles.
Singletrack Sound’s studio is built around a Universal Audio Apollo 8p and Adam A7x near field monitors. Tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering are done within Logic Pro and Luna, with an extensive library of plug-ins from Universal Audio, Waves, iZotope, and more available to make your project sound the best it can.
