I have over 2 decades of experience as an artist and in bands including heavy rock, avant garde/indie, legit reggae, reggae/punk, electro/funk/fusion, and singer/songwriters from pop to Americana to hip-hop to country, and so I bring an eclectic set of musical tools to mixing, mastering, and playing keys for my clients. I learned by absorbing the experience as a client in recording studios from 2004 - 2016, before building my own studio in 2017. As a keyboardist and songwriter for bands (Mutts, Company of Thieves, Los Colognes), I was the guy looking over the engineer's shoulder and asking questions. Then I would record the demos for my own songs before hitting the studio. Soon, my demos started to sound like the finished product. I remember when a song that I wrote, performed, produced, and mixed got played on a major radio station. I thought, "yeah, I can do this!" Then a song I wrote, produced, and mixed got a sync in a movie. Then I tried mastering - when one of the mastering houses I used to use said they couldn't beat my references anymore, I realized that I could offer that service, too.
