Classically trained, studying with world leading composers and performers, Dan has been writing and performing music from a young age, having sung in the Albert hall in his and performed as gigging jazz pianist in his youth.
He studied at the internationally renowned Dartington Hall, collaborating with dancers, film makers and fusing electronic and acoustic instruments.
Dan provides orchestration, arrangements and production for song writers, events, trailers, film and games.
Dan's influences are varied: studying jazz and classical styles from a young age, he ventured into contemporary classical composition and electronic, 'found sound' and sample basic music.
Alongside writing music, Dan also creates sample packs and libraries from instruments and the natural world. He also writes software and creates AI systems to help with music creation.
He is proficient at music production software (Logic pro, etc), score production etc.

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Imagination
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Start with briefing and 'moodboarding' - work out what you are looking for. Create a series of sketch ideas for you to respond and react to. Draw out the structure together and go through iterations.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My writing studio is in Cambridge, UK where I work with high quality sample libraries. For recording, I'm happy to organise or collaborate on sessions in studios globally

A: Anything new. I collect sounds of the natural world, sound of humans music and fuse the 2.
