Although it was a small project, one of my recordings had ended up on the Nashville Songwriters Association's top 40 list on their website!
Analog or digital and why?
A blend. The flexibility in digital is unparalleled, but the warmth and tone of analog just can't be beat!
What's your 'promise' to your clients?
To fulfill the vision you have about your music, but also bring my own twist to it.
What questions do you ask prospective clients?
What are you trying to accomplish with this project? From there, I can better judge if I'm the right fit for the project.
What type of music do you usually work on?
I love working on all types of music, but the most common for me are Pop, Country, and Singer-Songwriter/
Tell us about your studio setup.
A well suited control room, a small isolation booth, and a larger tracking room for drums and such.
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
The most common work we have in Mixing, followed closely by tracking and recording songs, as well as producing.
