How on earth does this voice memo become a song? How do I turn this chord progression into an interesting composition? Well, I'd be happy to help. With over 10 years of experience in the music industry, from selling out festivals in Europe and the US, to going #1 on iTunes, I know what it takes to write and produce a truly catchy song. Reach out!
I got my start in music as a young, energetic, Beastie Boys-wannabe performing in a duo called "Aer." We toured the world, selling out shows, and making reggae infused pop hits. This experience propelled me into a now flourishing solo career, where I blend beach pop with indie lofi music. I'm now juggling two solo projects, while developing and writing tons of music for friends and peers. I want to help you too...
I am here for you, however that may be! Want to write a song from scratch? Let's do it. Need help fleshing out some lyrical concepts? Let's do it. Need me to produce a trap-influnced polka song? Let's do it. You get the idea! From production, to writing, to demo mixing, I'm your guy!
Can't wait to get started.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My upcoming EP for my reggae project Surfer Girl is something I'm wholly proud of. I wrote and produced the entire thing in a few weeks, and I think it turned out really well. Can't wait to share it with you all!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My reggae side project, "Surfer Girl." A hip-hop/trap beat pack. Music videos for the 2021 Carter Reeves releases. Oh, and SoundBetter!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Justin Lucas! He's one of my biggest inspirations, collaborators, and friends. Go check him out!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog for the color, character, and warmth - digital for the ability to change things!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To be sure you are 100% satisfied with our song.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The fact that I get to explore any outlet of inspiration I come across. Into bossa nova this week? Cool, go learn it all.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you make it sound like a grimy rap song being performed on the beach? Why yes, I can. Spring reverb and 808's baby!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Having a blue check must mean he's rich, famous and successful! Oh boy, there is a long road ahead, and a long road behind. A musician's life is a the most beautiful rollercoaster ride you could ask for.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you want this song to say about you? Who do you see this song being performed next to?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I want you to be happy. I am willing to put in the work, edits and advice to make sure you're happy with YOUR song at the end of the day.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic guitar, ukulele, 4 track TASCAM cassette recorder, mini rubber bass, my Olympic White Strat.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I skipped college to chase my dreams. My first project Aer was pretty darn successful, which propelled me into the career musician lifestyle I live now. 10 years deep in the game, and just getting started!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Lo-Fi indie beach pop!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would be honored to get in the studio with Khruangbin. They are the definition of cool, and I love their warm, vintage funk sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Treat your low end like a Halloween pumpkin and carve that stuff out! Make some room for your bass, why don't ya?
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Fun pop, beachy pop, indie lofi, reggae, and hip hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Songwriting and melody composition.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I will bring a sense of fun, lightheartedness and bounce. If that's not your forte, I'd happily write some sad or introspective songs with you!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I have an incoherent brainstorm! Just let the ideas flow out. No such thing as a dumb idea! Well, maybe. You just need to whittle it down to a really nice final product!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My at home set up is my dream set up! With tons of MIDI controllers, tape machines, vintage drum machines, authentic Fender amplifiers, and some great studio monitors, I'm ready to make any type of music that comes across my plate.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am a massive fan of all things Pharrell. Throw in some Timbaland and Justin Timberlake, then we've really got a party. Besides the obvious, I am constantly inspired by indie groups such as Clairo, Dreamer Boy, Khruangbin, and Babe Rainbow.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I often take small ideas and help to turn them into full productions. I also am often asked to make a pop/hip hop beat.
