Hi, I'm John. I'm a composer, guitarist, and mixing and mastering engineer from Brooklyn NY. My guitar & production work with electro-soul duo Illuminator (ILLUMNTR) has over 1 million streams on Spotify and Soundcloud. I can make your tracks sound great, either as a musician or an engineer.

I work out of my sound-treated home studio using a combination of analog gear and industry standard plug-ins. I work primarily in Logic Pro X, but can also use Ableton Live, or Pro Tools, and can edit and repair audio using iZotope RX. I use a number of industry-standard plugins such as FabFilter, Waves, SoundToys, Native Instruments, and more, as well as analog hardware compression, to get great sounds.

As a session musician, I can track acoustic or electric guitar, electric bass, synths, and programmed drums.

As a mixing or mastering engineer, I will give your music balance, depth, shine and polish.

I've uploaded a sound sample of a recent project - a track from an EP by Brooklyn artist Grace Kelly All Day, inspired by Halloween, released on 10/31/2020. We tracked 3 out of the 5 songs from scratch just a few days before, on 10/26. Then, along with 2 that had already been recorded, I mixed and mastered all 5 songs to have them ready for the 31st. The EP even got onto Spotify in time! Long story short, I work quickly, efficiently, and professionally to deliver a great sound, and will go the distance for my clients.
