Composer, Lyricist, Vocalist

I have been a professional touring and recording artist as a songwriter, vocalist, clarinetist and composer on piano and guitar for 15 years and have shared the stage with people like Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Anais Mitchell, Patrick Watson, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Kimbra, Ryan Miller of Guster, Nels Cline.

I can offer careful composition, beautiful melodies, thoughtful lyrics, a unique yet familiar singing voice, and a warm clarinet tone. I am currently the songwriter and singer of Arc Iris and was a founding member of The Low Anthem. My backgrounds are in classical composition and clarinet, traditional folk music, exploratory jazz influenced songwriting, and arrangement in a variety of genres. As a classical composer, I have fulfilled commissions over the years and scored short films.
