I have over 20 years of music production experience and I was signed at Universal Music as a songwriter and producer. I love mixing various genres, including Pop, Rock and Singer-songwriter. My mixes are well-balanced , powerfull and most importantly support the emotional impact of the song. Moreover In the last years I also won many online mixing contests, competing with many engineers worldwide. Recently, RJR secured an impressive 2nd place in an industry-renowned global mixing competition organized by Produce It Like A Pro, competing against over 4000 participants from across the globe

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital! I love the efficient worklflow.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will deliver a radio-ready mix within a short time frame!

A: The creativity in bringing a song alive!

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Hire musicality and creativity! The technical part is just a tool.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My PC, PSI monitors and a headphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been mixing for more than 15 years. It started with mixing own productions and songs. From then I developed my mixing skills continuously, and also joined and won many online global mixing contests!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I think my mixes (depending on the production of course!) have a clear groove and vocal.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are many, cannot pick a few!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Typically pop, rock, country, singer-songwriter, so mostly 'organic' music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Help telling the song's story by creating a ' full bandwidth' sound with clear section transitions!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Musicality! As I have produced and written songs and I also play several instruments.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After getting the multitracks, I will deliver a first mix within a day. From there we quickly iterate to the final mix, since I am fully commited to one project at the time!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix in the box using Reaper, Cubase or Protools as a DAW. My audio interface is a Prism Sound Lyra 2, connected to PSI 17m and KALI in-5 monitors. I use several headhphones for quality control.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Many!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I specialized in mixing music, occasionally I also record music.
