Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m proud of every project I’ve worked on because each has helped me grow as a producer and learn something new. Since 2015, I’ve produced, mixed, and mastered for diverse clients, consistently delivering professional results across genres.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A mix of my original releases, remixes, and a few mixing & mastering projects for artists and content creators.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer digital. Today’s digital tools can match analog quality when used correctly, while offering far more flexibility and speed.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To deliver a commercially accepted, radio-ready track, while maintaining clear communication and meeting deadlines every time.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It never feels like a job — I love the creative process, working across genres, and bringing ideas to life. There’s no room for boredom.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most clients ask about turnaround time and number of revisions. I offer 2–4 day delivery per track and 3 revisions included, ensuring a smooth and transparent process.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That mixing or production is just about applying presets. In reality, every track requires individual attention, critical listening, and thoughtful creative decisions to sound professional.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask about their creative vision, reference tracks, intended platform for release, and any deadlines or turnaround expectations, so I can tailor the workflow accordingly.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Provide a clear vision and reference for your project. This ensures that we’re perfectly aligned and helps me deliver exactly what you’re looking for.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My MacBook and studio headphones are essential. I’d also bring my audio interface, MIDI keyboard, and studio monitors to keep creating wherever I am.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I come from a business background, but music has always been my passion. In 2014, I trained in DJing and Music Production at The Music Inc, Mumbai, and earned Audio Mixing & Mastering certifications from Point Blank Music School, London. Since 2015, I’ve worked with artists and labels in Mumbai, producing, mixing, and mastering across multiple genres.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern, versatile, and polished — blending clean commercial production techniques with creative elements that fit the artist’s vision.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I enjoy working with artists from any genre. Every project is a new opportunity to learn, experiment, and grow as a producer, and I’ve successfully delivered in multiple styles over the years.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Patience and experimentation are key. Keep refining your ideas until the track matches the vision in your head — don’t settle early.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work across a wide range of genres including Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop, Future Bass, Tropical House, Deep House, Bollywood, Trap, and Moombahton. Over the years, I’ve grown by adapting to any genre that comes my way and delivering quality consistently.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Audio mixing and mastering, ensuring each track has clarity, punch, and balance while retaining its musical character.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A commercially accepted, radio-ready finish that meets modern industry standards — ready for streaming platforms and professional release.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the client’s vision and gathering reference tracks. If they have elements ready, I incorporate them; otherwise, I build from scratch. Within a couple of days, I share a demo. Based on their feedback, I refine and deliver the final master, ensuring a smooth and collaborative process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work on iMac and MacBook systems with Logic Pro X and Ableton Live. My setup includes Behringer and Native Instruments interfaces, Mackie HR824 monitors, Sennheiser HD380 & HD202 headphones, and an Audio Technica AT2020 mic. I use an M-Audio Axiom Air 32 MIDI controller and a full suite of industry-standard plug-ins and VSTs for production, mixing, and mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by DJ Suketu for his innovation in the Indian music space, Yoad Nevo for his exceptional mixing & mastering work, and David Guetta for his ability to blend mainstream and electronic music seamlessly.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily work on original song production, remixing, mashups, music programming, arranging, and audio mixing & mastering. Many clients also hire me for vocal tuning and editing to give their tracks a clean, professional sound.
