Abhi Malhotra is a professional music producer and has had his work featured both in prominent Hollywood films [The Signal, Theory of Everything],on albums by Grammy winning artists [Ok Go, The National]. He is a protege of Damian Wagner [Producer: Michael Jackson, David Bowie] and strives towards cutting edge production & fresh musical ideas.
My professional work experience started in LA, working at music studios such as Tony Maserati's Mirrorball. Worked under Damian Wagner ( Producer: Michael Jackson, David Bowie) and designed sound for artists like OK Go & The National, films like The Signal & The Theory of Everything, national TV campaigns for Adidas, Corona Beer and more. Our work was nominated and awarded: Gold CLIO (Music, 2013), Gold WEBBY (Music, 2012), Bronze CANNES Lion (Cyber and Filmcraft, 2012). Our work has also been featured on music videos by David Guetta and Grammy nominated music albums.
Working independently, I have written music for award-winning Indian film director Anurag Kashyap and Divine, India's 1st rapper to be signed to NAS' music label Mass Appeal. Have designed audio and sound for user applications, consumer technology, advertisement campaigns as well as sonic branding for corporate and consumer franchises.
