Hi, I'm Marc, I'm a platinum songwriter, producer and professional guitarist from germany Inspiring, creative and tasteful guitar playing is what people hire me for. I co-wrote and played the guitars on the platinum single "Hurricane" by Ofenbach. I worked on songs with artists such as KSHMR, Quarterhead and Bennett.
I'm a musician that's looking for the unexpected.
Unheard lines, creative chords but always serving the song. Tight rhythms, virtuoso but tasteful leads, soulful playing and industry standard sound quality is what you can expect from me.
I've been playing guitar for almost all my life (24+ years). Over the last decade I had the chance to gain experience as a songwriter, producer and recording guitarist in sessions with multi-platinum artists.
I'm excited to get to work with you!

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I co-wrote and did the guitars on 'Insane' for the french dance duo 'Ofenbach' in one of my first sessions with my new publisher. It got international radio airplay and quite some streams on Spotify, so I'm proud to be part of that one.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Writing songs, doing production music and my own artist project MVCO.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I love analog but seriously, that digital stuff is going places...
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, UAD interface, Strat, bass and probably some headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing guitar since I was 6 years old, so for about 20 years now. I'm doing professional music jobs for about 9-10 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Leftfield-Pop
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Charlie Puth, he's a genius
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: That depends. It's usually on the funky/R&B side but depending on the client or the production I'm working on it can vary from heavy rock to country/folk.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Combining melodies with chords
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: That totally depends on what the client asks for. If you're down for some special, inventive guitar stuff, I'm in. If you just need a bread and butter guitar to support your arrangement, I'll get you what you need.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually we talk about what the client needs first and discuss influences or play each other songs examples to be really clear. Based on that I'll set up my equipment and get to work, that's pretty much it.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: John Mayer, Todd Pritchard, Cory Wong, Nile Rodgers, Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Robinson, Mateus Asato, Oak Felder
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm mostly doing guitar based productions and guitar recordings. Writing music with artists or doing production music for e.g. advertisement or tv is probably in second place.
