I am applying to create Canvas animations. Ethan Stewart (Tenstriip) is a visual artist working on immersive audiovisual experiences blurring boundaries between physical and digital spaces. His practice consists of experiments with virtual/augmented reality, projection mapping, large-scale displays, and real-time video processing.
I hope to create Canvas animations for artists. Driven by interdisciplinary thinking which encompasses art, design, and science, my work focuses on human perception, exploring new methods for non-linear narratives, and designing meaningful interactive experiences. Received my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Digital Design focused on Experiential Interactions from University of Colorado Denver, and studied Engagement by Design at Danish Institute of Study in Copenhagen.
My work and performances have been exhibited at music and media art festivals around the country including Sonic Bloom, Arise Festival, Burning Man, and more. Assisted with curation, installation, and gallery management at Emmanuel Gallery, Next Stage Gallery, Headquarters Gallery, and 808 Gallery as well as facilitated a collaborative project with Meow Wolf called “Special Guest Denver.” Collaborations with musical artists Foxtail, Frequent, Seppa, Kursa, The Widdler, Cualli, EOTO, Dillard, The Flashbulb, Duffrey, kLL sMTH, An-Ten-Nae, Morillo, Detox Unit, Droplitz, Salty, Prophet, Crow, E.L.F, Push/Pull, and more. Resident visual artist at the Black Box for the Sub.mission agency.
