Modern songs require modern solutions. My goal is to make your music sound like the hottest chart leading rock artists.

I've been a guitar player for 14 years, started writing songs when I was 12 and been a songwriter, producer and guitarist in a pop punk/alternative rock band for 7 years. Over these years I've slowly built up the understanding of how music should sound and feel.
I love sounds. Great sounds. Some might say I'm obsessed, I say I'm deeply passionate. I've educated myself on production and mixing in I believe the best school possible - the "Google and YouTube University".

I'm quite new to providing a mixing/mastering service and would love to build up my portfolio. Even more importantly, to make your music sound AMAZING!

Please feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to answer your questions and discuss things in detail.

P.S. I'm a really friendly guy although the profile photo might not show that. :D

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Karl edited and tuned my vocal tracks to perfection. I didn't even know I could sing and sound that good xD haha.

My band needed some post-production to bring our song to life and up to modern standards. And Karl did outstanding job adding all kinds of layers and ear candy. The song got sooo much better. Even our professional mixing engineer who has his own music teaching academy chose this song to show his students how post-production should be done. Yeah. That level of stuff.

Interview with Karl Tümanok

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Make sure you have your tracks sounding as good as you possibly can. Meaning the instruments and vocals are edited and tuned well, there are no clicks and pops and that the tones complement each other and work together. I can do some magic, but only to a certain point. The hard truth is to get a stellar mix/master, the production must be great.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: To get a truly great mix the raw tones and production must be great already.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: To be always honest and sincere and to keep on working until you are happy.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: That incredible feeling when you have created something wonderful that you truly love.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: Listening to the client, creating a vision for the track and just going after it. Simple as that.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I have learned that you don't need the best studio monitors, the perfect studio room and every hot plugin out there to create something wonderful. My setup is very simple: PC, Audient ID4 mkII, Reaper, couple of headphones, a pair of decent speakers and almost every hot plugin out there. haha :D Yeah I know... I just really love getting new stuff. It's exciting!

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: Zakk Cervini who has done the latest Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Machine Gun Kelly records, Sky Van Hoff - Till Lindemann/Rammstein/Emigrate, Jordan Fish and Oli Sykes from BMTH are my songwriting and production idols.
