I'm a Nashville recording artist and session musician originally from New Zealand. In-demand as a vocalist and guitarist with a number of (Grammy nominated) artists spanning many genres, often Americana and Country, but also regularly performing as a Jazz singer. I and am very adept at matching and gelling with a lead vocal, and working to enhance the arc of a song through layering, tension and release.

Current touring and session work includes Brandy Clark, Peter Bradley Adams, Rachel Baiman.

I have written and recorded 4 albums of original material (with my band Tattletale Saints) and have received awards and acclaim for my lyric writing. I specialize in narrative based lyrics, ironing out cliches and getting everything flowing in the same direction.

My range is high baritone/tenor, I have a good vibe and am easy and adaptable to work with, and ultimately...I wanna make you sound awesome!

Cy has one of the most versatile voices I've worked with, unique enough to shine on lead vocals and skilled enough to sit behind and support as a backing vocalist with ease. His large range allows him to support both male or female vocals and his experience in a wide variety of genres from choral and jazz, to country and rock, give him the ability to blend with a huge variety of vocal styles.
