Interview with Kaiya Flora Campbell

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love meeting people and creating something that didn't exist before we met and wouldn't exist if we hadn't met, I think it's a unique aspect of music that I really value.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work in the pop realm but I also work on projects in different genres, for example I have done vocals for film soundtracks worked on translation projects and done top lining for electronic projects.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have a strong melodic ear and I love to come up with a strong lyrical concept.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a standard home setup with a shure SM7B a UAD volt interface and I use Logic Pro.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love anything with a good melody and creative lyrics things like Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Griff etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My main specialties are toplines and vocal production, I can write you a track or I will produce your vocals for you to industry standard.
