Whether you're looking for a straight-forward, professional edit; or that final creative sparkle to bring your song to life - you're in the right place! I have worked extensively with Jez Kerr of A Certain Ratio, having impressed him with my out of the box method of working.
I can produce, edit, mix and master your song (or group of songs) at an affordable price with high quality, professional and unique results. I have worked in production, mixing, and mastering for over five years in a vast range of genres - from indie rock to house music. Being a musician and artist myself, I know how important it is for producers to bring additional creativity to the table; without completely altering your sound. Therefore, you can trust me to deliver a mix/master that you can be confident with.

Interview with Archie Dewis
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I believe in using the benefits of both. Digital allows us to change, copy, and edit our audio over and over again without causing audible degradation. However, it can also sound too clean and cold - this is where Analog comes in. Nothing can beat the unpredictable, warm sound of analog hardware and I believe it is often the final piece of the puzzle for most songs.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to provide a musically coherent and radio-ready mix/master in a short amount of time.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Anything I work on tends to start off in Logic Pro X - where I do subtractive EQ and any necessary compression, gating, or troubleshooting. I'll then sum all tracks from the session into my Studiomaster Diamond 12-2 mixing desk to add warmth, color, and harmonic saturation. Whilst using the desk, I will also set up a couple of effects on the sends (Spring Reverb, Digital Delay, etc...) depending on how creative the client wants the mix to be.
