I like to give my clients the best bang for the buck in all things studio related by providing pro studio sound at rates that Indie artists and labels can afford.
My background is with the analog, big commercial studio environments, most of which were outfitted with large format Neve, SSL or Trident consoles accompanied by 2" Studer tape machines and Lexicon 224 or 480L reverbs, sometimes an EMT140 plate. I always loved both the sound and the workflow that the traditional setup provided and I carry much of that foundation with me into the digital realm. Though I learned a lot of tips and tricks from pro mixers and producers, I eventually discovered that my strengths were in my own instincts. To me, the most important element in a mix is whether or not it brings the song to "life." The greatest records have a distinct energy and magic, which in my opinion, is a synergy between the song and the studio.

Endorse Washburn MasteringI had the privilege of working with Todd Back in 2002. I had just moved back to Hampton Roads from NYC where I was an aspiring actress and performing artist. When you are a serious artist moving to a new environment can be hard, there was no airs or egos just the mutual love and respect for both our talents. He brought out the best in my work. A+
