William Roper is a low-brass specialist working in the Los Angeles area. He has played in a wide range of genres and settings. These include movie soundtracks, classical ensembles including the L.A. Philharmonic, jazz ensembles large and small, rock & roll and pop acts. He has performed in North America, South America, Europe and Asia as soloist and in diverse ensembles. He has released ten CDs as a leader or co-leader on Asian Improv Recordings, Nine Winds, ArtShip Recordings and Tomato Sage Recordings.
