I'm an award-winning songwriter, currently producing/fronting a professional Alternative Folk/Americana band. In addition to being trained to sing in multiple styles, I also studied arrangement and composition (both lyrics and music). And with my recording studio experience, I have 30 years of writing/singing/producing to bring to any project.
I started writing and performing my own songs at the age of 13, and have trained vocally since the day I could sing. From age 15 on, I've been in and out of recording studios -- working not only on my own projects, but singing background vocals on many others.
I've also spent the last 20 years working with others: producing or co-producing their tracks, playing other instruments, working on vocal and song arrangements, and even teaching songwriting and conducting vocal training classes.
I graduated from New York University with a Master in Musical Theatre writing/acting/performing (from Tisch School of the Arts and Playwrights’ Horizons), and a Minor in Vocal Performance.
Because of my varied background and professional experience, I am able to genre jump from pop to punk, folk to Broadway.
Whether it's my music or someone else's -- my main focus is always the song itself. And I get a tremendous amount of joy from being able to help someone reach their true vision with a song.
