I am a vocalist who is constantly growing. I bring emotional, dynamic energy to each performance, and I believe my job is to find the best possible way to serve the song. I am always growing and expanding my "vocal toolbox". My clients compliment me on my control, range, and passion.
I am a professional female vocalist with years of experience onstage and in the studio. I can lay down an awesome lead as well as create a great background vocal arrangement. I'm great with pitch and tone and I can sing rock to folk to country to blues.
Once I work with a new client they usually hire me again and again. I get great results and I am also a professional: I show up rehearsed, warmed up and ready to work. I respect your time.

Endorse Rorie KellyI hired Rorie to work on 5 songs at Vudu Studios in Port Jefferson, NY. She is an amazingly talented singer and highly professional. Not only did she execute my vocal requests beyond expectation she also added several of her own harmonic ideas which I gladly kept on the final takes. You will not be disappointed!
Interview with Rorie Kelly
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I just released my second studio album, Rising Rising Rising. I wrote, sang, and played guitar on each track, and I also stretched myself to take a more active role in production choices all the way through the process. I am more proud of it than anything else I have ever done. If you'd like to take a listen it's at roriekelly.bandcamp.com
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being a part of bringing someone's art to life. To me that is a very sacred process. It's an honor.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make it be about getting the vocal you love and finding someone you love to work with (good personality mix and communication)--not about the money. A year from now you want to be remembering the session fondly and still loving the track--not thinking "at least I got a good deal."
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Butch Walker -- such a dynamic and exciting producer. Everything he does sounds amazing to me.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I most often get called to work on rock, folk, and blues projects. I also love singing country when I get the chance!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: People most often compliment me on my passion and my vocal control--I can go from rock'n'roll screamy goodness to a delicate sweet tone instantly, and I bring a lot of energy and emotion to a track without sacrificing pitch.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listening comes first--my ears and my brain do as much work as my vocal chords.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am a session singer, bringing your song alive with an exciting, dynamic, honest vocal. I am also available to co-write melodies, music and lyrics, and for in-studio vocal coaching to help you make your own vocal shine.
