I am a drummer, producer, and engineer. I play drums, program beats, and offer full production services from my studio in Nashville. I'm here to make your song the best that I can make it, and bring in the best musicians available to elevate the music you want to make.
Live Drum Tracks/ Programing
Vocal Editing/ Comping
Harmony signing/ editing/ comping.
I am a Nashville based drummer/producer.
Originally from Kansas City, I got started in Nashville in 2012. Since then I have been playing, mixing, and producing music locally and on the road. I work a lot in my studio doing drum tracks for clients all over the world.
I have a variety of drums, percussion pieces, and cymbals to accommodate any song.
Most often I have some great 70s Slingerlands set up which I love. Or, I have some classic Yamaha Recording Customs. I have a full spread of snare drums. I also have a few tubs of miscellaneous percussion for all of the textural needs.
I have Apollo converters with circuit modeling of classic pre's and compressors, namely the Neve 1073s, and SSL channels. Those are my go-to starting points and they always sound great.
I have a variety of microphones that I love as well as well as some toys here and there for cool sounds.
All work is done in Protools and generally sent out without edits unless otherwise requested.
I will often add simple percussion as well if it suits the song.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Andrew did a great job on drums for my track. It was the backing the song needed. Love the way he let the acoustic guitar set the tone before building into the drums.. Great communication, quick turnaround.. Highly Recommend!

Andrews drumming is spot on!! I sent him a rehearsal of our band doing a song and asked him to do something similar, and he sent me two flawless takes that I'm very happy with. His tones are also crisp and clean. Highly recommend!! Thanks Andrew

It was a great job that andrew did for the song.
He’s very accurate and answer very quickly.
I was very satisfied with him work and him work was beyond my expectation (It doesn’t mean that I didn’t expect the great one).

Interview with Andrew Bone
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When I get a song to play on, I first listen to determine the feel/vibe of the song. I then make a chart. After the appropriate gear is set up, I will take a pass or two and hit record.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am set up in a studio in my home. It is an addition on the end built on a separate slab. The space is fully treated acoustically with hard wood floors.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The big guys who inspire me are Kenny Arnoff, Aaron Sterling, Lester Estelle, Mark Schulman, Curt B. etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: In my studio, I can do and have done, full production, but it is generally set up for drum tracking. I fly tracks in and out of the space setup here.
