My name is Ben Zakharenko (current stage pseudonym "Ben House")--I'm a music producer, audio engineer, mix engineer and mastering engineer. With over six years of experience in the world of music technology and recording, I am confident I can get your song to the place you want it to be. I look forward to working with you!
I can take your idea for a song from an acoustic demo to a full-blown track; this also includes sound design, arrangement, vocal comping and editing. While I specialize in EDM and Pop productions, as long as you provide a few reference tracks for the sound you want, I'm confident that I can get the production of the track there. At the end of the process I will provide you with a rough mix of the track and the individual stems which you can send off for mixing or use for any other means you like.
In sending me the stems for your track and provide between two to three reference tracks, I can mix your track to sound as close as possible to these references. I will frequently check in with you to receive your feedback and make sure the track is being taken to a place you like, and there will be no surcharge for up to 8 revisions of the track.
In sending me your track along with two or three reference tracks, I can master your track to sound as close as possible to these references. Upon hearing the mix, I may request some general stem groups for a stem master to get the desired result. I will frequently check in with you to receive your feedback and make sure the track is being taken to a place you like, and there will be no surcharge for up to 4 revisions of the master.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with Ben Zakharenko (Ben House)
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: In terms of mixing, the most important thing that most people underestimate is the importance of the volume fader; a lot of changes you might otherwise make with an EQ or a compressor can often be easily remedied by simply adjusting the gain of the element to place it better in the mix, and just volume faders can get the mix around 85% of the way there most of the time.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually make EDM or Pop Music, ranging from more specific styles such as Progressive House and Future Bass to Electro Pop, Future Pop and Commercial.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would likely be my diligence of communication. I take the concept of the chain of information very seriously, and thus will always stay on top of progress updates and will never hesitate to ask the questions needed to get your project to where you want it to be.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently have a pair of JBL LSR308 monitors running through an SSL 2 Audio Interface, running Ableton Live or FL Studio off of a 6-core MacBook Pro with 16gb of RAM. For MIDI Interfacing, I have a Novation Launchpad, a Novation LaunchKey 61, and a Jammy MIDI Guitar.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Two of my biggest influences, especially right now, would be Madeon and Porter Robinson. Between their pure musicality, their top-notch productions and extremely unique and recognizable sound palettes, it's hard to thing of two more innovative dance music producers in this day and age. Some other major influences of mine would be Louis Futon, Puppet, Avicii, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Grey and HONNE.
