I started working with Jay a few years ago now as he came highly recommended by some close colleagues. Having made 10+ tracks with Jay, I love the Jay works.
He finds out what I’m liking and the musical direction i’m heading in - not just in the general direction, but finding the nitty gritty details of direction, which is great, it really homes in on my musical mindset for the session and helps me focus too.
I’m a bit of a studio fiddler, and like to always try alternate variations of an idea, usually to go back to the first one, however Jays patience is key here, as he lets me ‘just try’ things.
He helps me push my ideas further that I wouldn't have come up with alone.
