Ask for my input and I'll bring ten years of experience into the mix to help craft the finer details that add an extra layer of spice to your music.
I aim to offer clients a faster route to achieving their creative potential. Let me save you time scrolling through Youtube tutorials by offering up my extensive experience in mixing and music production consultation to help you create the music you envisaged and more. I offer remote sessions with live audio and video feeds as well as attended sessions at my studio in Shoreditch, East London.
Starting my career in classical music, I've developed the techniques to pull together elements of a song from scratch. After studying music technology I moved to Ibiza and started the transition into electronic music, including electronic pop. I’ve spent the last ten years developing these skills, using my initial classical knowledge to help clients creatively too.
As a music producer/mix engineer I’ve worked with labels such as Sony, Universal, Armada Music and remixed the likes of DJ Snake, Sam Smith, M.A.N.D.Y and Underworld. I have continued radio support from BBC Radio 1, Kiss 100, Capital FM & further throughout Europe. My works include mixing credits for Pete Tong, Sasha, Eli & Fur with production / mixing credits also for John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Darren Emerson, Danny Howells, Themba & Kisch.
With my hybrid studio setup I can accommodate analogue and digital projects. Spend a day with me and we’ll take your song from concept to a finished and mixed down product.

It was great to work with Jay and have his perspective, and incredible studio, on a new EP project of mine. Very professional, adaptable and intelligent.
I was recommended to Jay by Fat Mastering for a remix project - melodic techno. Jay brought out the bass and the heart of the tunes, and improved all of them beyond what I could have done . He was responsive to adjustments and always understood those hard-to-explain tweaks.. I’ll use him again, on my strongest tracks. Really good to work with.
I've worked with Jay for some time now and from the beginning it felt like I had come to right man, straight away he understood what I wanted and made every effort to make my tracks top dollar. He also gives you so many tips and creative ideas and has helped me get a number of tracks signed with decent labels.
I’ve worked with Jay for some time now, his professionalism and attention to detail is invaluable as he is more importantly his ability to turn an idea into a the kind of track I would want to buy.
A number of my tracks have now been signed as a result of working with Jay.
Furthermore Jay is very easy to talk to and always offers creative direction just at the right time!I started working with Jay a few years ago now as he came highly recommended by some close colleagues. We hit it off immediately and he really helped me to pull myself out of a creative lull I’d been going through. His talent inspires, as well as his enthusiasm and knowledge. I honestly don’t think we’ve ever had a bad session and the fruits of our work together have been released on some of my favourite labels over the last few years.
I spent years trying to find the right engineer to work with and failed so many times. Then I met Jay and never needed to look elsewhere again. I can’t recommend working with him enough. We hit the floor running and every track we made went exactly to plan with no time wasting. He is so easy going and that made the dynamic in the studio perfect. All my tracks got signed to credible labels too; say no more.
I’ve worked with Jay on a couple of tracks ans its been a superb combination. Jay brings alot to the table and has helped turn my ideas into reality that end up sounding brilliant. He has knowledge and skill in abundance, his rates are very competitive and he goes over & above when it comes to going back in for final tweeks. Hes also a top lad and alot of fun to work with. Recommended.
Cracking engineer with a really good ear. Highly recommend his work. Adds to whatever you give him whilst maintaining the core idea.
Really easy going lad who is willing to share his knowledge too.
Will defo work with him again :)
Having made 10+ tracks with Jay, I love the Jay works.
He finds out what I’m liking and the musical direction i’m heading in - not just in the general direction, but finding the nitty gritty details of direction, which is great, it really homes in on my musical mindset for the session and helps me focus too.
I’m a bit of a studio fiddler, and like to always try alternate variations of an idea, usually to go back to the first one, however Jays patience is key here, as he lets me ‘just try’ things.
He helps me push my ideas further that I wouldn't have come up with alone.I've been working with Jay for 8 years now and honestly can't recommend him highly enough. His studio prowess, musical knowledge, attention to detail and personal likability all factor in making him the perfect studio partner.
