Composer, Pianist

I am Lewis, a UK based composer, pianist and graduate at Leeds Conservatoire in Classical Music. I specialise in orchestral music but have explored many different genres through years of developing my style. This ranges through a variety of classical eras such as Romanticism and Impressionism, but also in cinematic soundtracks to electronic music.

I typically compose with Sibelius when writing purely musical compositions. However, when working with visuals I prefer to use Logic to work with the footage, avoiding the clash of musical structure with storytelling. I have studied the fundamentals of standard orchestral instruments and the role and purposes that they play. Although, writing for larger ensembles is my forte, I too have plenty of experience when working with smaller ensembles and making the most out of the limited number of players.
