Interview with Ruben Romero
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recorded an EP right after college with a fellow alumni, I did everything from start to finish. This included recording piano on site at my Alma Mater, along with recording organs in a local church. After that I personally mixed and did a bit of mastering on the tracks we recorded for my client.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I say a bit of both is always good in any studio
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I tend to be flexible with the genres I work on, although recently I've been working on hip hop tracks
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start off by listening to the clients previous songs if they have any, to get an understanding of what sound they are going for.
