Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
Ronnie Milsap's gospel album. I co-wrote his lead single 'Up To Zion' which has been feature on Bill Gaither's show. Working on that album opened a lot of doors for me as an artist. I'm blessed to have been part of it.

If the desert island had no electricity: a large notebook, a pen, my guitar, a chair, a pitch pipe

I've been in the industry for a very long starting as child (at it for more than 20 years)

very diverse, I love and can sing all types of music
Which artist would you like to work with and why?
Mary J Blige, I love the way she bares her soul
Can you share one music production tip?
When laying a vocal, be open to stepping away from the track for at least 2 days and then lay another one. You'll usually realize the first vocal is the more honest & heartfelt one.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Gospel, pop, r&b
What's your strongest skill?
I'm a quick study vocally, very good with parts and vocal arranging.
What do you bring to a song?
As a vocalist, understanding the lyric, with a lifetime to experience from soul.
What's your typical work process?
With my own music, I can literally go for hours on end:). When I collaborate with others, I'm interested in the concept and creatively first understanding what the person (the one with original idea) wants initially. After that if the creativity flows I can see if my own ideas will help the process.
If the process is work for hire, I understand the goal, how time sensitive it is and bring it to fruition.
