Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I make things sound better.

A: Besides the woodwinds, my preamp, A/D converters, computer and Neumann USM-69 mic.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started in 1972 playing bari sax for Quincy Jones and Aretha Franklin. I've had my own band and record label since 1978. I've played on hundreds of soundtracks for movies and TV on clarinets, flutes, oboe and saxes.

A: Jazz, classical, r&b.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ears.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My ears. I get the song just loud enough - not so loud that you can't bear to listen to it after ten seconds. But loud enough so the entire song sounds hot.

A: Mastering services, overdub saxes and woodwinds.
