I've learnt songwriting from Rock 'n Roll legends,I've engineered for the greats and I've produced a Billboard Top 40 single. I love getting weird in the studio – John Lennon's underwater condom-sealed mic experiment is just the sorta thing I'm into. Taking a hum and turning it into an undeniable hypnotic hit is what I'm all about.

In the songwriting process I can flush out a chorus, help add a melody or find that trippy organ solo that you didn't even know you were missing. From lyrics to melodies and chords, taking your midnight voice memo and crafting it into it's fully-realized form is just the sorta thing I'm used to.

As a producer, I know that sometimes, as sad as it is, your 5 minute jam has to be cut down to just 15 seconds. But I'm here to help save the best, face-melting parts. It's all about lifting the song at the right moments and taking your listener on a journey through the ebbs and flows, while not losing them along the way. While sometimes that means less is more, sometimes it also means reversing your guitar, adding some maracas, or doubling your voice. We'll get it where it needs to be.

When I'm engineering there's nothing that's too far out. I love using every piece of gear, in every corner of the room – even if it's your baby sister's toy drum set. But that being said, I'll never sacrifice workflow for tinkering. There's always time to tweak, and I can recreate any sound. It's all about catching the moment in the now and layering in sonic variations later. Carving space within a song is an art in and of itself, and with the right balances each part can lift the track to its fullest potential.
