Interview with $imba P
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The ear is a very powerful tool that most people often neglect when used to its full potential you can fill all the pockets you need to create a masterpiece!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-hop and R&B
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills are writing, recording, and mixing you are guaranteed to have a well thought out and well mixed masterpiece!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: When writing and recording my own i pride myself on versatility and show case this in every way possible when I am making music. When it comes to my mixing and mastering I make sure that the mix and master are very crisp and clean to the artists liking.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically sit down with the beat or the instrumental that I am writing to and begin to write and let my thoughts or the topic flow revise what I have written and go over ways to make the words i am saying sound crisp and catchy in my delivery. When recording I tend to use my voice as an instrument sometimes when it comes to the sound I would like to deliver sonically on a track sometimes with auto-tune and sometimes without depending on what the song needs. When recording, mixing and mastering for others I am also open to the sound the artists would like to create for themselves vocally and sonically and making sure that I do this to the best of my ability,
