Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I have had the pleasure of working for a new artist that I cannot disclose. But he is already achieving millions of plays a month, and I help songwrite, produce, mix & master it all. I hope to find many more projects like this where I can be creatively invested in the long run.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital - as explained above. I've come from SSL & Neve boards, and understand the use of them. Since I do not track full bands at once, a full console is unnecessary, I can achieve professional results with the technology at hand in the box.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: To do my best with what I'm given and give you the best product I can.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Creating

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Budget and timeframe. These are most common in a question as most people are looking for a quick and cheap turnaround. I always say, the best investment is in yourself. If you invest in your project with the right engineer and production, you have a much better chance at success.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Their timeline. Their budget. Their goals and references for the song, as that helps me best attack and complete what is asked.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Music production. I've been doing this as a hobby for 15 years and professionally for 12.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd like to work with Thom Yorke because of his creative genius, his adaptability between elecronic and rock, and his constant ability to bring something new to each song.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If you're hitting a wall creatively, don't stop! You might be one accident away from a breakthrough.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: EDM, Electronic, Indie electronic, Chill.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: The ability to adapt to a song and bring something new.

A: That depends on the work at hand!

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: As someone who started as pure analog with a background in SSL & Neve, I've migrated over the years to 100% In-The-Box with the help of high quality D/A conversion. I'm confident in my skills and the progression of technology today to provide a polished and professional product without the use of analog gear.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I am able to do anything under the realm of production. That includes, mixing & mastering, ghost producing, beat making, songwriting, sound design, general guidance and A&R, and anything else that is needed from starting a production from scratch and finishing.
