Interview with The Only Jordan G
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first personal album. I learned so much more than I thought I would during the creation and perfecting processes of each song. Now that it is complete, it gives me overwhelming inspiration every time I listen to it.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Adding to my personal catalog, and finding another song to release for the individuals that listen to my personal music.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Unfortunately, not yet.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Either or. For me it is mainly about the sound, although analog does tend to output the better sound in most cases.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To give my full energy to you as my client.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Learning about new people and I also like the process of creating with a new person because everyone is different.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Do you like the song? Yes. Everything I get to be a part of creating I like.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I take things "too" seriously. I want to get excited about working for you and with you, but I can only get as excited as you get.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Explain the who, what, when, where, why, and purpose of the song.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you genuinely like the providers music and style overall before you work with them.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Computer, a source of power, headphones, speakers, and a phone. Mainly so I could at least continue to write lyrics and create songs
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was an athlete prior to this, and after a couple surgeries from injuries, then decided to focus on my brain instead of my body to show how talented I am and express who I was.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Smooth and soulful.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Any artist that has their own unique sound. For example, Lil Baby.
