Hi, I'm Siân. I’m a full time drummer and percussionist and record remotely from my studio. I use a range of microphones to get a creative sounding drum track, and spend time choosing the correct drum kit and cymbals so it will sonically sit perfectly with the other instruments on your track. I come from a classical percussion and folk music background, so I love blending drum sounds in this way and finding sounds that work well together. I also work with Addictive Drums making loops and programming beats which has been, for some artists, an incredibly useful creative process. I'm also pretty handy at editing drums, so if you have a drum track that you need comped, processed or quantised etc. I'd be happy to do that for you!

I have around 3 decades of experience recording and touring, and have played all over the world from small clubs to big festivals. I also have a lot of experience with recording and have worked in studios all over the place, learning about drum sound for the past 15 years.

Unquestionably one of the best drummers (of many) I've ever worked with. Siân's playing is creative and characterful. I'm extremely impressed by her sense of arrangement and musicality - she responded to all my requests and brought her own ideas to the production, intuitively understanding the needs of the track. The vintage tones she used in this instance blended beautifully with acoustic-guitar based music. I will be back for more.
