Hi! I’m Dagni, a versatile singer and music producer based in Tallinn, Estonia with a professional home studio. My vocals are featured in a song called “Warzone” by Lowky and me.
Started singing when I was just 7-years-old and haven't stopped since. I had my first experience with a professional recording studio about three years ago and have recorded some for some smaller projects/covers since.

Interview with Dagni
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Would like to hear the instrumental and the theme or vision of the song.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been singing for about 18 years. During my middle- and high-school years I sang in the school choir. As I turned 18, I started playing around with recording my vocals by myself. I've taken some time to collect the courage to come out as a solo singer and the last push for that came from my friend who needed vocals for his song.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Alex Turner 'cause I'm his biggest fan! Overall, I'd like to work with artists with whom I could have interesting conversations about music and ideas, make them become reality, and most importantly, enjoy what we're doing!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I've worked on different genres such as DnB, House, Indie Rock, Indie Pop, R&b, Soul, Pop rock and Pop. Personally I prefer to go fo Indie Pop, Indie Rock, DnB and House.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Sustaining a note for an extended period.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Although I don't have the strongest voice, I always sing out of my soul and am present on the track both physically and mentally.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The process is always different and varies quite a bit. Sometimes I sit behind the computer and sing and/or produce all day for new ideas/tracks, other days I'm not in the zone with my vocals or can't get the ideas going. For singing, I usually war up for about 30-60min and record after.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I've got everything needed for producing, singing and recording at home. I've got my Macbook, studio monitors, sound car and Rode mic with a reflexion filter for tone down the ambient noise. I've also got a MIDI keyboard and Pioneer DDJ-400 controller. I've learned to produce both on Ableton and FL Studios.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm most inspired by rock music. The favourites include Arctic Monkeys, Queen and Metallica, they are most inspiring in terms of live performances. I've always admired their courage and skills when communicating with the crowd. I also enjoy the strong vocals which are characteristic to the genre, like System of a Down's Serj Tankian and Volbeat's Michael Poulsen.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Singing would be my go-to type of work, but am also open to writing lyrics and melodies.
