Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A project I am especially proud of is a 27-minute piece of recorded music (in two parts) called "Human Nature". It was a passion project and my role was composer, producer, mixing engineer, sole instrumental performer and mastering engineer. I worked remotely with a singer and a narrator to bring the story to life and the final product was a mixture of transitional soundscape, synthesis, field recordings and conventional musical sections, guided by narration and lyrics.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: They both have their uses, especially in terms of workflow and I use both depending on the context.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Eclectic, creative and quirky, yet professional, thorough and high-quality.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Yes, Steven Wilson, Alan Parsons, Vangelis, Peter Gabriel, Jean-Michel Jarre, Gary Moore, Rush, Björk, Gong, King Crimson, Tame Impala, Pond, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard for varying reasons.
