Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: "Overnight success". It takes years of hard work and dedication and hope.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: My debut album! Ahhhh! I've never been more excited about a project of mine. First single release of the album comes out August 27th with an incredible music video!!!

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That they'll love the final project! It's a collab... I want you to love it as much as I do :)

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Getting paid to sing... feels like a dream!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been professionally working in the music industry for 3 years. I originally moved out to Los Angeles for acting, but found that music brought me waaaay more joy & freedom of expression.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What/who inspired the track? Any vocal preferences?

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: laptop, akai MPK49, Rode USB Mic, headphones & edibles haha

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Dark indie yet soulful sound

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: 6lack or Brent Faiyaz! I've been dying to sing a hook on one of their tracks... I love alternative R&B! I'd also LOVE to write with Jessie Reyez or Sabrina Claudio. I love their unique style and vulnerability

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Be authentic. Don't try to copy another singer or style, because it'll always feel pushed and fake. I'm constantly inspired by musicians, but there's a big difference between being inspired and copying.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: R&B, Indie/Dark Pop

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Songwriting and my vocals. I've always loved writing and recording. I come from a musical family and was always encouraged to share my talents with the world - so I'm very confident in my ability to write and perform in a way that touches people in a new way.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: SOUL, VULNERABILITY, RELATABILITY, UNIQUE RAW VOCALS. I love creating music and I am always honest and transparent in my songwriting and delivery. It feels like therapy to me - so it's a major bonus that it's my job too ;)

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: When creating my own music, I usually start to write piano and lyrics together then work on strengthening melodies. Once the production and topline is ready and I've listened to it for a couple of days, I'll add harmonies and bg VOX. When creating for someone else's track, I usually listen to the track once all the way through to get a general idea of the vibe/mood and genre. Then on the second listen, I'll record my first ideas on my phone - just to see what lyrics and melodies come to me off the bat. If I have solid ideas, I'll fine tune them and build off of that. Once I have a pretty solid idea, I'll start to record through Logic Pro X and I tend to change a lot of the melodies after hearing it professionally recorded. I'll add bg vocals and adlibs after I'm happy with the lead VOX.

A: Revise lyrics and/or melodies, write original lyrics and melodies, record vocals for demo purposes, record vocals for commercial use
