I'm a Recording and Mixing Engineer, Composer and Musician with 20+ years of professional experience. I have a background in Jazz, Classical and I currently work in a multitude of genres including Americana, Indie, Singer-Songwriter, Country and so on. I'm originally from Chicago where I attended the DePaul University School of Music and currently I reside in Austin where I work at a number of beautiful recording studios including King Electric, Estuary, Hen House and my own Planet Pleasant Recording Studio. I am available for tracking, mixing and mastering both in person and remotely. I am also a session Bassist and multi-instrumentalist with 100+ credits. I excel at arranging vocal harmony, strings and horns as well as band oriented arrangements. creating advanced chord progressions, music theory and out of the box production.
