I moved to Nashville in 2014 to study commercial music at Belmont University, but quickly found professional music work, and decided to devote my years as an undergrad to a BA in English. This time allowed me to grow in my abilities as an artist. I studied creativity, writing, and literature while beginning work as a session musician, songwriter, and producer. I toured regularly with Stephen Day, Jonny P, and a few other soul/singer-songwriter acts and began producing music with Jude Smith and the Tuesday Crew. I also led an organ trio that played every weekend at an amazing restaurant venue downtown. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, live music has been on hold, so my talents have been re-focused to writing and recording.
