Norwegian (born 1975) composer/arranger and former Violinst living in Sweden since 2002, composing music for Film/TV and performing arts and writing arrangements for Nordic artists (50+ recordings) and professional orchestras and ensembles (400+ arrangements).

Tormods career started in 2000 when he worked with Norwegian artist Herborg Kråkevik on her acclaimed album Kråkeviks Songbok as an arranger. The album became a huge success in Norway that year, was nominated with a Grammy Award (Spelemannsprisen) and opened doors for new exciting projects as string arranger. Tormod first childrens record, Kjente, Kjære Og Noen Glemte Barnesanger was nominated for Grammy (Spelemannsprisen) in 2005. He has also a long time working relationship with Norways most famous artist like Sissel on Strålande Jul and Odd Nordstoga on Bestevenn among others.

Tormod released his first record as a composer in 2019 with Koral & Vocalise performed by a cello quartet from Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. In 2020 he made his debut as film composer for a feature film with the animation "Pelle Svanslös" (SF Studios) together with Magnus Strömberg. The soundtrack of the score will be released early 2021. He also contributed as an orchestrator on the songs.
