Producer, Songwriter, Mixing/Mastering Engineer, and Guitarist. Studied Music at New York University and worked for various Labels, Studios, and Artists in New York City for last 12 years.

Marcus Assenmacher is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with a background spanning songwriting, recording, and live performance. After being signed to a record label at 19 and graduating from NYU Steinhardt’s music program, he spent years working in studios and touring as a guitarist while collaborating with artists and producers across the modern pop landscape.

Over the years he has worked with artists and producers including Teddy Geiger, Ricky Reed, Lauv, Junglepussy, Dillon Cooper, and Sammy Adams, among others.

His work centers around strong songwriting, groove-driven arrangements, and modern production that highlights authentic performances. He currently works from a private studio where he produces records, records live instruments, and collaborates with artists and bands both remotely and in person.

Marcus is also the artist behind the indie pop project Twin Phase, marking a return to releasing music as a solo artist after more than 17 years.
