  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I recently completed my first song in my mother-tongue which is getting released soon with a beautiful music video. I am really proud of that song as that has already made a great impact on my peers. I believe this song will go a long way. It is called "Shinduk" which means treasure in English.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am working on my album featuring a few artists from different countries

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Yes I know a singer from Soundbetter and if she permits, I will recommend her to my clients as she has was outstanding!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I would go for digital as it is easier to use and maintain digital setup.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise quality. I promise that when a song is completed, the client will say the word – “it is beautiful!”.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Music is my passion. I believe music brings hope and happiness and unites people. It makes people feel better. I cannot be much happier if my song made someone smile or cry when needed.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Customers most commonly ask me that how soon can I deliver a project. My answer always is – I will try my level best to stick to the reasonable deadline however my first priority will be the quality of the song.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Most people think that I only do soft music. But I love all kinds of music and I love rhythmic, fast paced songs as well. As long as they sound awesome!

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I ask questions that focuses on helping the prospective client. For example, what kind of sound are you expecting, what is your deadline of the project, who is the artist of the song and if possible can I have the demo of the vocal, what is the base key for the song that best suits the artist.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Quality, quality, quality. Always look for quality and professionalism. If you are paying for a project, you have the right to receive the best service with quality.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I started doing music from childhood. I composed my first song when I was in standard 10. I got a break to work on a television drama in Bangladesh (my home country) in 2015. And now I am collaborating with a few musicians and artists for upcoming album and singles.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I would say it is freestyle. I tend to understand and get inside the soul of the song first and then interpret it in the notes and compositions.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: If I ever had a chance, I would like to work with Dua Lipa as I love her voice and her versatility.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Do not try to sound perfect but try to sound beautiful. Sometimes an imperfect sound is even beautiful!

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Mostly pop. However, I am an advocate of world music and I love to experiment with different genres.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My strongest skill is understanding the vibe of a song. I am also expertise in composition.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring the “aesthetics” to a song with a blend of sound through compositions, melodies and rhythm patterns that enhances the idea of the song.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I first understand the theme of the song from the client. I then try out different compositions and patterns that best suits the theme. Once the client likes the demo, I go for full recording to finalize. During this process, I continuously discuss with the client about the expectations for the song.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I use Logic Pro X as my DAW in an iMac. I use JBL studio monitors. My microphone is Rode NT-1A and my sound interface is Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. I use a midi keyboard (Novation Launchkey 49) and ROLi.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Other music professionals inspire me in many ways such as maintaining the best quality of sound of a production, bringing a great soul to a song by using a great pattern and give purpose and meaning to production.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I compose the melody and music of a song for clients most of the time.
