Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I love the way sound design can discretely guide the audience experience, filling in elements that they don't actually see, but imagine they do since they hear it. It gives me a bit of a power trip. Mwah-hah-hah!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Projects are constantly rotating, but at time of writing, sound design for a dramatic series and a comedy feature film.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both are enormously versatile and powerful, and often even better when combined.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A Twilight Zone-esque fusion of pop, dance and electronica.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Work at a standing desk so you can move to the music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Singing in front of a crowd requires you to engage the audience to keep their attention and it`s no different in the studio when producing an audio track, just the techniques are more subtle.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: A pair of Macs, a bunch of instruments, and many healthy plants.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Étienne de Crécy, Aretha Franklin, Rod Temperton, and so many others whose music literally moves me to dance!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music composition & sound design for film & video games.
