MONKEY MARKET are an alternative/indie rock band and a cross genre music production studio from Italy. We self produce our music 360 degrees from audio recording to mixing and mastering. We can provide music composition services in all the pipeline from songwriting up to mastering.

We just started the MONKEY MARKET Music Production business, but we are not greenhorns.

We are creative and passionate musicians with a wide range of skills.
Davide (Founder, Singer, Producer, Sound Engineer) is a mechanical engineer and Game Director for a videogame development studio. Ivan is a longterm guitarrist with major festivals experience and a two year cruise ferry professional experience. We started music production years ago and after feeling ready, here we are.

We were lucky and good enough to have Ferrari as a first client for their Ferrari Esports Challenge trailer video soundtrack, that has been successfully and specifically designed for them with much appreciation in response.

The services we can provide:
- Music composition: starting from a photo or an idea, we can deliver pieces of music in response to customer's taste and intentions
- Mixing and Production: we can complete draft songs or receive partial or complete pieces of track and add other tracks and instruments to them, or receive a phone recording of a piece of vocal and develope a full instrumental track
- Final mixing and mastering: if you can produce a song on your own, we can finalize its mix for all tracks and also work on the mastering

Interview with MONKEY MARKET Music Production

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First things first, we meet the client via a video call, we want to know everything they like to tell us about them and listen. Then we start a shared creative process that can bring to a track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We are remote workers for a videogame company, so our offices are also our music production studio. We use some industry standard pieces of hardware and software which have been able to allow us to produce professional sounding tracks and we will surely develop this aspect along the road.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: We are pretty much inspired by Coldplay and the sound fashion they have generated and grown from their first album. We also love Imagine Dragons, Bastille and all those artists starting from a big love for rock and trying to translate it into something sounding new and alternative.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We are musicians, in love with music, but first of all: we love to meet new people and talk to them before any serious offer or proposal. Until now we produced OSTs and songs for our clients starting from scratch, from an idea for a video or a mobile phone recording. We can also work starting from more serious tracks and complete them.
